Okay, so, I still can't find the recipe for the drunky tomatoes.
HOWEVER. They're not that precise.
Gather a bunch of tomatoes, some decent vodka (if you wouldn't drink it, don't cook with it), a lemon, and some salt and pepper.
Parboil and skin the tomatoes. Boil some water, cut an "X" through the skin on the bottom of each tomato, dunk them in boiling water (use a slotted spoon) for a quick second. Immediately dunk the boiled tomatoes into ice water to stop the cooking. The skins should slip off easily after that.
Once all your tomatoes are naked, throw them in a bowl with the vodka. Let them marinate for at least 3 hours. Longer, if you want a party.
Drain out the vodka (save it for Bloody Marys).
Zest the lemon. Make it fine. Stir it into the tomatoes.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve them on cocktail picks.
